This course is fully government-subsidised for eligible students, meaning you will not have to pay any course fees. It is part of a program to help people develop the skills they need to get a job, undertake entry level qualifications or transition to a new job.
If you are not eligible for subsidised training, you can still choose to enrol in the course but will need to pay the full (non-subsidised) fee.
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Statement of Attainment in Defence Preparation Maths qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 6 units of competency, including 6 core and 0 speciality units.

Established in 1956, TAFE NSW Cessnock has been training and educating the local community for over 60 years, and in addition to offering a great range of courses, the campus has also become home to the Australian Postie Bike Grand Prix.
