Entry requirements

This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

  • A teacher will contact you to make sure this is the right course for you. They may ask you to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) profile so that you can be placed into the right class and so that you can access appropriate support if needed.

  • Early School leavers under the age of 17 and without a Record of School Achievement (ROSA) must have a written recommendation from their school.

Completion requirements

During your study you’ll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:

  • An interest in improving your academic English

  • Completed the Certificate III in English for Further Study

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Advanced English for Further Study qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 6 units of competency, including 4 core and 2 speciality units.
