Overview
The Diploma of Aeroskills (Avionics) is the course for you if:
- You are looking for a CASA B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence covering the supervision, performance and certification of avionic maintenance on aircraft that are type-rated by CASA for maintenance purposes, or
- You have completed your Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification and wishing to upskill, or
- You hold a CASA B2 licence with exclusions listed on licence and want to upskill
This is a fully government-subsidised JobTrainer course. Eligibility criteria applies.
Students will learn to:
- Perform administrative processes to prepare for the certification of civil aircraft maintenance
- Plan and implement civil aircraft maintenance activities
- Supervise civil aircraft maintenance activities and manage human resources in the workplace
- Apply work health and safety procedures at supervisor level in aviation maintenance
- Manage self in the aviation maintenance environment
- Perform advanced troubleshooting in aircraft avionic maintenance
- Perform aircraft weight and balance calculations as a result of modifications
