School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT) combine paid work, school and TAFE NSW training, to help you gain valuable work skills and experience while you are studying for the HSC.
School-based Apprenticeships
With a School-based Apprenticeship, you train on the job, study and earn money while working towards a trade qualification, and you complete the first stage of your formal training during your HSC year.
School-Based Traineeships
School-based Traineeships let you study for your HSC while training for a vocational career.
Explore SBAT options at the NSW Government SBAT page.
