    School-Based Apprenticeships

With a School-Based Apprenticeship, you train on the job, study and earn money while working towards a trade qualification.
As a school-based apprentice, you complete the first stage of your formal training during your HSC year.

    School-Based Traineeships

School-Based Traineeships let you study for your HSC while training for a vocational career.

    Example areas include:

    • office administration
    • information technology
    • hospitality.

As a school-based trainee, you complete your chosen qualification by the end of your HSC year.
