Course Details

This course is for people requiring the knowledge and skills to work or seek employment as a Welder in a metal fabrication or allied engineering industry. You will acquire the practical skills and techniques associated with the welding process to join ferrous and non-ferrous materials in all weld positions, heat, cut and gouge materials, interpret engineering drawings. This course is designed to accommodate both off-the-job training and on-the-job training and experience.

When you study with TAFE NSW, we want you to succeed. Entry requirements allow us to make sure that you have the right pre-existing knowledge and skills to achieve your chosen qualification. You will need to provide evidence that you meet the requirements listed in this section.

This course is currently scheduled on Tuesday 5:30pm to 9:00pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.

This training is not subsidised by Government funding. There are no fee exemptions, concessions or subsidies available for this course.

Payment of course fee must be made PRIOR to commencement of learning activity.
