    Assessments

    To complete this course, the following materials are required:

    • You will need to provide for yourself the following resources which you will keep when you complete your study:

    • Access to texts are provided electronically. Students will need to bring to class a notebook, pen and USB storage device.

    • Students will require access to a computer and suitable internet to complete set learning tasks and join virtual (MS TEAMS) classes as required, this is a combined delivery with some classes delivered using MS TEAMS.

    UnitsUnits taught in this course

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Business qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 13 units of competency, including 6 core and 7 speciality units.

    Course deliveryCombination study

    Learn through a combination of classroom based, online and/or workplace activity. For example, you may participate in scheduled classroom activity, have an element of self-directed learning with online content, and/or receive supervised training while on the job, doing work experience, or on placement.

    Classroom activity will be scheduled, but online learning can provide more flexibility. Teacher support will be provided for all study. Access to a computer with an internet connection is required.

Home to purpose-built plumbing and carpentry workshops and specialist facilities for the building finishes trades (including, plastering, painting and decorating), TAFE NSW Maitland features a team of dedicated staff focused on connecting industry with the local community, and skilling students to meet the needs of both.
