    Assessments

    Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt and to identify the knowledge or skills that may need further development.

    • Knowledge assessments: multiple choice, true or false and short answer questions

    • Skills assessments: role-play scenarios, group work activities, presentations and demonstrations under observation

    • Case studies: case-study scenarios and reflection

    Work placement

    Work placement provides you with opportunities to respond to situations and circumstances that cannot be replicated in a learning or simulated environment. Work placement strengthens your training and supports continued learning and assessment in the workplace.

    • To be enrolled in this course offering, you need to be able to meet the following work placement requirements:
      Students are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of voluntary work at an organisation with a structured volunteer program. This will not commence prior to 4th April 2022. Students will need to provide a Current Working with Children Clearance and a National Police Check prior to Wednesday 9th March 2022.
