Is a creative career calling but the expense of art supplies and studio costs are holding you back? A little financial help can make a big difference to serious, aspiring artists. That’s where the Carol Duval Memorial Award comes into play.

If you’re an outstanding student currently enrolled in your final year of the Diploma of Visual Arts (CUA51120), or the Bachelor of Creative Practice (HE20634) at TAFE NSW Hunter Street – this is a great scholarship opportunity. In 2025, TAFE NSW will award one lucky student $1,000 as they embark on their final year of study, and get ready to launch their career in the fine arts. The Carol Duval Memorial Award is generously provided by the Duval family in memory of former fine arts teacher Carol Duval from TAFE NSW Hunter Street.

Applications for the Carol Duval Memorial Award is now closed.
