    alt=""

    At TAFE NSW, we celebrate differences and nurture inclusivity. We do this so that all our students feel respected and included.

    We’re committed to making TAFE NSW a safe and welcoming place for all students. This includes our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, those from diverse cultural backgrounds, LGBTIQA+ students and students living with a disability.

    With students and staff from many different backgrounds, you can feel comfortable expressing yourself in a safe environment. Join us in creating a learning and working environment where everyone belongs.

    Our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Plan (DIB)

    At TAFE NSW, we embrace diversity and inclusion. We do this to nurture a sense of belonging at every campus. Diversity and inclusion lead to innovation, creativity, and collaboration between students and teachers.

    Our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Plan (DIB) was co-designed by a team of employees. They each represented a different community and provided feedback through focus groups.

    Our DIB Plan is a roadmap for including diversity, inclusion and belonging principles in our:

    • recruitment
    • curriculum design
    • staff development
    • community engagement.
