DIBP - Introduction

Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Plan

TAFE NSW is committed to creating a learning and working environment where dignity, trust, respect, and the promotion of diversity and inclusion is valued.

A diverse and inclusive workplace and culture at TAFE NSW not only strengthens our connection with the broader community but also nurtures a sense of belonging among our learners, employees, and communities.

Our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Plan for 2023-2027 is a roadmap for integrating diversity, inclusion, and belonging principles in our recruitment, curriculum design, staff development, and community engagement.

Embracing diversity and fostering inclusion enhances innovation, creativity, and collaboration and will help us achieve our vision of nurturing a sense of belonging in all of our campuses.

The Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Plan was co-designed by a project team made up of our employees who gave feedback through focus groups. Together, they represent the many diverse people and communities who interact with TAFE NSW.
