    • Knowledge assessments: short answer, extended response, multiple-choice questions, assignments

    • Skills assessments: projects, case studies, practical skills assessments

    Work placement

    Work placement gives you real experience and develops your skills.

    • You will need to provide for yourself the following resources which you will keep when you complete your study:

      • access to equipment such as a camera or smart phone
      • colleagues, friends, or family members who are available and willing to participate in assessment role plays that are recorded and submitted for marking
    • Please note, TAFE Digital does not provide participants for your role plays. Please be aware that recordings will be retained by TAFENSW for audit purposes.

    Units taught in this course

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Human Resource Management qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 12 units of competency, including 7 core and 5 speciality units.

    Course delivery

    Studying Online

    Learn online. Unlike virtual classrooms, you won't have a timetable. All your course content will be available online for you to access at any time of the day from a computer with internet access.

    Your online course will include collaboration with your teacher and other students through online platforms. Your teachers are available and will provide you with support throughout the course.

    You may be required to attend a vocational work placement, on campus assessment and/or a teacher might need to observe and assess you in a real or simulated environment.
