    Help preserve our ecosystems by learning how to preserve and rehabilitate our unique natural environment. Discover how to identify plants, pests and animals, restore bushland and support ongoing conservation projects.

    Entry recommendations

    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    • An intermediate level of fitness to manage physical tasks like preparing the soil, using machinery, kneeling and planting trees and shrubs

    • A Class C Drivers Licence

    • Sun protection for working outdoors including a sun-safe hat, full length trousers and long sleeved tops

    • Closed toe non-slip shoes, gardening gloves and work gloves

    • A willingness to work in varied weather conditions

    • Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection

    • Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 10 high school level

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 16 , including 2 core and 14 speciality units.
