Do you love Spanish wines? This short course offers a deep dive into Riojan wines. With four hours of wine tastings, you’ll explore Rioja wine styles and classifications. Learn about the production, gastronomy and history of Rioja wines.
During this course you'll learn to:
Identify how different grape varieties and winemaking techniques affect the style and quality of Rioja wines
Understand how Rioja’s natural environment supports the production of quality wines
Examine Rioja wine classifications and the differences between its three sub-zones
Explore the production, gastronomy and history of Rioja wines
Taste and discuss Spanish wines
You'll leave this course with:
A Certificate of Attendance
An official digital Rioja Wine Diploma certificate
A potential pathway to further study in the wine and hospitality industry
The ability to identify and evaluate different styles of wine from Rioja
Some courses require evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol
You must be over 18 years to attend a course at the Sydney Wine Academy as evidenced by a copy of your photo ID
