    Entry requirements

    This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

    • The ability to respond effectively to workplace requirements and apply a basic knowledge of trends and traditions in at least one area of technical production as evidenced by a letter from your employer, resume, transcript, production records or references

    Entry recommendations

    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    • Enclosed shoes and ear protection

    • An interest in live production and previous study or work experience in the industry

    • Basic computer skills and access to a computer with internet and Microsoft Office 365

    • The ability to manage self-paced study

    • Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 10 high school level

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Live Production and Technical Services qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 16 units of competency, including 4 core and 12 speciality units.
