plan and lead water-based group exercise classes
use your knowledge of the human body to design safe and effective exercises
perform water rescues
provide first aid
follow work health and safety requirements.

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
the ability to swim freestyle or another stroke for at least 50 metres
the ability to tread water for at least one minute
a passion for sport, wellness and teaching others
an interest in working with people and providing customer service
appropriate swimwear, sunscreen and hat
access to a computer with a reliable internet connection
the ability to organise your own transport from your TAFE NSW campus to a local pool.
