Course Details

Learn the art of mixology by blending, shaking, stirring, building and muddling all the classic cocktails. In this one day master class we will teach you how to organise the bar, essential beverage knowledge and the workplace safety. Whether youre wanting to become a professional bartender or simply wow friends and family with your new found skill, join us for a fun and informative course. To develop your cocktail knowledge apart from mixing you will also taste your cocktails and you need to be 18+.

When you study with TAFE NSW, we want you to succeed. Entry requirements allow us to make sure that you have the right pre-existing knowledge and skills to achieve your chosen qualification. You will need to provide evidence that you meet the requirements listed in this section.

You have to be over 18 years to attend this course.

With 130 locations across the state, TAFE NSW tailors qualifications to meet the needs of the local community and specific student groups (like apprentices, fast-tracked and online students). To make sure this course is the right fit for you, we will need you to demonstrate that you can meet the additional requirements below.

To be enrolled in this course, you need to be able to provide evidence that you are:

  • on the day of the course being 18+ years of age due to alcohol handling and optional consumption sampling.

This is a Part Time Day Face to Face course. You will need to attend approximately 4 hours of class, over 1 day a week, for 1 week.

If work placement and the demonstration of practical skills are requirements of your course, there may be a modification or delay in the planned timeframe due to COVID-19 impacts. This course is currently scheduled on Saturday from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

This training is not subsidised by Government funding. There are no fee exemptions, concessions or subsidies available for this course.
