The nationally recognised Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice strengthens the skills you need to work as a real estate agent or property portfolio officer. You will develop marketing profiles, interpret legislation and prepare for professional practice in the dynamic real estate industry.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

A Class 2 licence is required to conduct sales or property management in the real estate industry in NSW. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be eligible to apply for a Class 2 licence.

Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this qualification can vary between states, territories, and industry sectors.

The groups within CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, contain units that are also packaged in Training Package Skill Sets and which align to various licensing requirements across Australia. The CPP Companion Volume Implementation Guide Release 8.0 provides a table that maps these skill sets to the groups in the qualification. Note that licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements vary between states and territories.

STUDY COMMITMENT

This is a part time day Blended course. You will need to attend approximately 9 hours of class, over 1 day a week, for 36 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 2 hours of other study per week.

You may also be required to complete approximately 6.5 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including private study, assignment work and research.

This course is currently scheduled on Wednesday 9:30am to 4:30pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
