Units
Units taught in this course
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Information Technology qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 20 Units of competency, including 7 core and 13 speciality units.

Course delivery
Studying on Campus
Learn in person, on a TAFE NSW campus. Depending on your course, your classroom could include purpose-built spaces like art studios, mechanical workshops, laboratories or bakeries. When you study on campus, you will receive a timetable of when you need to be on campus to attend.

TAFE NSW Mount Druitt is located a few minutes’ walk from the local train station, shopping centre and CBD in Sydney’s western suburbs.
While recognised as a trades, technology, mechanical, electrical and electronics engineering centre, TAFE NSW Mount Druitt is also a major centre for transport courses, plumbing courses and the modern information technology facilities that support the advanced IT studies of students throughout Western Sydney.
