During this course you'll learn to:
Taste and assess wine using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT)
Describe how wine is made – from grape growing to production
Identify key grape varieties and the regions where they are commonly grown
Match different types of wine with suitable foods
Store wine under the right conditions for different styles
Serve wine at the ideal temperature and in appropriate glassware
You'll leave this course with:
A Certificate of Attendance
A digital certificate recognised internationally by industry professionals – easily shared online or printed
Practical experience in selecting wine from a wine list and matching it with food
Exposure to a variety of grape types and wine styles
Enhanced professional credibility with new, industry-relevant skills and knowledge
Some courses require evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol
You must be over 18 years to enrol in a course with the Sydney Wine Academy as evidenced by a copy of your photo ID
Successful completion of the TAFE Statement in WSET® Award Level 2 in Wines as evidenced by a copy of your transcript or certificate
