This course is for those planning a career or already working as engineering technicians on electronics and communications systems. You will learn how to develop, select, commission, maintain and diagnose faults/malfunctions of electronic components/sub-assemblies, apparatus and systems.

Work Placement Hours:

Workplace learning (on the job training) of 144 hours in total, is required for the achievement of competencies to receive the Diploma of Electronics and Communications Engineering. A teacher will assist with securing a work placemen for you and assist in the organization of the workplace learning and associated workplace activities in line with TAFE NSW policy.

To receive this course students must complete all core units and a range of Additional units.
