The course provides managerial-level training for clerks and administrative workers. It provides a basis for a wide range of careers and occupations. You will learn how to establish and maintain a workgroup network, manage meetings,plan and manage conferences, plan or review administration systems, manage payroll and manage business document design and development.
This qualification would apply to individuals with various job titles including administration managers, general office managers and office managers. Individuals in these roles may possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of a team.

- Students who do not have the equivalence of the NSW Year 12 will need to apply for the Certificate III in Business Administration R11735
- It is recommended for students to have intermediate MS Word skills and some previous industry experience would be advantageous.

COURSE STRUCTURE AND UNITS
To receive the Diploma of Business Administration students must complete all core units and, if available, a range of additional units.
