Corporate events and seminars held the highest market share in 2018, accounting for a quarter of all events that year. These types of events are expected to continue to lead the market to 2026.

INTERNATIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
When you study with TAFE NSW, we want you to succeed. Entry requirements allow us to make sure that you have the right pre-existing knowledgeand skills to achieve your chosen qualification. You will need to provide evidence that you meet the requirements listed in this section.
- Year 10 or equivalent
English Language Requirements:
- Academic IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL (iBT) 46 or equivalent
- Or Completion of a TAFE NSW General English Program
Location Requirements:
- At TAFE NSW Ultimo it is recommended you apply for a package with Diploma of Event Management. If you have prior education or work experience in the event management industry and want to apply for a direct entry into the Advanced Diploma of Event Management you will be invited to a pre-entry interview, which will also include a short questionnaire. This process helps determine the learner’s suitability and factors in the learner’s work and life experiences.
To be prepared for this course, it is recommended that you:
- Want to progress your career in event management
- Enjoy working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Have interpersonal skills that can be used to enhance client relationships
- Can work to tight deadlines
- Are organised and have time management skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have intermediate literacy and numeracy skills

STUDY PACKAGES
Plan your study around your life with a TAFE NSW study package. Our study packages allow for multiple courses to be packaged together that can lead you to a TAFE NSW or an Australian University Bachelor Degree with credits. This gives you a one stop shop by completing your applications for the whole package through TAFE NSW allowing you to apply for one student Visa for the full duration of the package.
TAFE NSW allows for two or more courses to be packaged together, either to meet the prerequisite requirements for a course or to plan your studies around your career goals. You can submit a single TAFE NSW application form and will be able to apply for one Student Visa for the full duration of the package.
