Study with TAFE NSW
Direct practices on agricultural techniques on the farm (the Greengate organic farm) and more chance to work closely with regional communities, made me confidently decided to study Diploma of Permaculture at TAFE NSW. It has given me access to more learning opportunities for me, such as field days and farm visits, and give me better access to learning material and equipment that help me achieve a greater performance.
The student experience
Studying at TAFE NSW has provided me a great opportunity to explore Australian cultures, modern technology, and the wildlife in this golden-soiled country - three categories that interested me the most.
Study with the best
The teaching and the content of the curriculum is fantastic. It means, that after exploring theory, students can directly apply it in practice, because the institute is located on the farm. Moreover, the TAFE NSW teachers are friendly, supportive, and informative.
Be job ready
As a part of my course I am involved in developing a farm design for a couple whose farm was destroyed by recent bushfires. This course will enable me to be further involved in this project, and can help me to achieve better experiences and build relationships between Lao and Australian grassroots farming communities.
