This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of mobile plant vehicles in the automotive service and repair industry. It is suitable for entry into the mining, construction and agricultural environment.
Subject area: Automotive
- Students are required to present evidence of their experience in the heavy automotive industry. For example: A letter from your past or present employer/s. A resume can also be submitted along with the employer letter however this is not compulsory.
- It is essential that whilst undertaking this course you have access to a heavy automotive industry workplace through either paid employment or significant periods of work experience. This will allow you to practise what you have learnt and increase your experience working with others in this field. Work placement cannot be guaranteed.

COURSE STRUCTURE AND UNITS
To receive the Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology students must complete all core units and, if available, a range of additional units.
