The nationally recognised Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Nutrition and Dietetics) equips you with the knowledge needed to work as a nutrition or dietetic assistant. This course will set you up for a rewarding career in allied health that will transform the lives of others.

This is a part time, combination course. You must attend approximately 12 hours of class. You may also be required to complete approximately 4 hours of additional study. This additional study could include private study, work placements and research.
The course will run 2 days a week for 1 year.
To be enrolled in this course offering, you need to be able to meet the following work placement requirements:
- Successfully meet NSW Healths criminal record check requirements.
- Sign the NSW Health code of conduct form and any other forms, as required by NSW health.
- Undertake occupational assessment, screening and vaccination against infectious diseases and provide health care worker/student vaccination record card.
- Complete 120 hours of work placement.

This course is currently scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday with day classes. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
