Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt and to identify the knowledge or skills that may need further development.
Knowledge tasks: online quizzes, short answer questions, case studies, written tasks and research projects, matching and true or false activities
Practical tasks before starting work placement: interviews, role-plays, creative projects, presentations and practical demonstrations
Workplace assessment tasks: written tasks, reflective journals, verbal or written questioning, planning and implementing activities, practical demonstrations

This course offering is designed for people who:
This full time day (9 months course) is 3-4 day per week program for 27 delivery weeks. This is generally across 3 school terms with term breaks. It would be best suited to a student who is able to commit to 3-4 days per week on campus and/or virtual classroom study. If this does not sound like you, we have other delivery options that may better suit you. Students will require regular access to, and have the ability to use a computer and internet. This could either be your personal device or can be accessed at your local campus.
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 17 Units of competency, including 15 core and 2 speciality units.
Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.
