TAFE Statement in Revit Alterations and Additions for Architectural Professionals

Overview

The objective of this course is to enable students who have an understanding of Revit Fundamentals to expand their knowledge and be able to confidently start projects, establish existing site conditions and propose new works, including demolition drawings. Students will explore different ways of managing phasing and multiple design solutions while producing the necessary documentation from one project file. This course is designed for confident users of Revit Architecture. It is recommended that students have a thorough working knowledge of Revit Architecture (have completed Revit Architecture Fundamentals or Equivalent).

Topics covered:

  • Construction timeline using phasing filters
  • Design options and filters
  • Graphic controls
  • Class Exercise: A sketch floor plan and elevations will be provided for the student to model EXISTING conditions. Using the phasing filters and settings students will provide various drawings including new PROPOSED works.
