Completion requirements

During your study you’ll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:

  • An Australian National Police Record Check

  • Vaccination and health screenings

  • A Working with Children Check (WWCC), depending on your work placement

  • Any additional evidence your work placement provider requires

  • A reasonable level of fitness and flexibility to carry out first aid and manual handling

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Ageing Support qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 18 Units of competency, including 15 core and 3 speciality units.
