  • To be enrolled in this course, you need to be able to provide evidence that you are:

    • an apprentice (you will work in industry and study at the same time)
    • employed full time
    • signed up with an Apprentice Network Provider and have a Training Plan Proposal
  • To successfully complete this course, you will need:

    • to satisfy all requirements of your NSW apprenticeship training plan. This includes all TAFE NSW assessment requirements along with all employer confirmation of competency.
    • to provide and bring to each session appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include: safety glasses, gloves, safety footwear, suitable clothing such as cotton drill work wear and other equipment (e.g. ear protection or respiratory masks) in line with industry requirements for their workplace or worksite.

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations - Bus, Truck and Trailer qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 28 Units of competency, including 11 core and 17 speciality units.
