This is a Content Creation courses and develops skills in acting, writing and directing for film and live performance. It is offered as a combination delivery: alternating virtual off-campus with on campus delivery. Bi-weekly virtual off-campus classes are followed by 1 - 2 days of on-campus practical days.

There are no minimum entry requirements for this course, however It is recommended that students have the following qualifications or industry experience:

• CUA41220 Certificate IV Screen and Media or

• a minimum of 2 years of experience, without a relevant lower level qualification.

To complete this course students must attend classes 2 days per week, complete the required assessments, and independently engage in creative projects. Students participate in a combination delivery: of virtual off campus learning and on-campus practical classes.
Units Units taught in this course
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Screen and Media qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 15 units of competency, including 4 core and 11 speciality units.
Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.

Course delivery Combination study
Learn through a combination of classroom based, online and/or workplace activity. For example, you may participate in scheduled classroom activity, have an element of self-directed learning with online content, and/or receive supervised training while on the job, doing work experience, or on placement.
Classroom activity will be scheduled, but online learning can provide more flexibility. Teacher support will be provided for all study. Access to a computer with an internet connection is required.
