  Take your first step toward a deadly career in law enforcement. Pursue your interest in policing, serving and creating safer communities. Build your resilience and assert your cultural identity as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.

  • Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, must identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted within their community
    Complete an electronic IPROWD application form
    Have a driving record showing no history of serious offences
    Be at least 17 and 10 months of age at the start of the course
    Take part in a pre-enrolment interview
    Complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills review. This helps us to determine that your skills match the demands of the course, to direct you to an alternative study option or to provide you with the appropriate support for your success. Your teacher will let you know when this must be completed.
