The Public Health Regulation of 2022 requires all cooling water systems to be audited annually by an approved auditor. In NSW, an auditor of cooling water systems needs to have: successfully completed the TAFE NSW Legionella Control in Cooling Water Systems course or an equivalent qualification, demonstrated appropriate experience in conducting audits and received approval from the Health Secretary.
