Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Construct components (accessories) for costumes worn in screen, media and entertainment industry productions
Integrate individualised sewing and construction techniques with other independent classic or standard techniques
Create hats with an emphasis on functionality, durability, wearer comfort and compliance with design specifications
Select and apply appropriate sewing and adhesion techniques to millinery construction and finishing processes
Gain practical experience and develop specialist skills that give you an advantage in the job market.

Our graduates go onto roles like: milliner or hat designer in a design studio or workroom with the Certificate III in Millinery and Indigenous design textile printer or fashion design assistant with the Certificate II in Applied Fashion Design and Technology.
