  • To successfully complete this course, TAFE Digital recommends that you have access to a computer and reliable Internet access.

  • Work Placement is a requirement of this course. You will need to complete:

    • a range of practical assessment tasks in the real and/ or simulated health care environment to achieve the competency in the course. There are no nominated workplace hours required for this course. You will have an option to either complete various practical asessment tasks with us at a 2 day face to face workshop, or can organise your own work placement to complete the tasks in the real health care facility. Please contact the teaching section for more information on workshops.

  • Work placement and the demonstration of practical skills are requirements of this course. Due to the impacts of COVID 19 and the disruption to service provision in the Early Childhood, Aged Care, Health and Community Services Sectors, there may be a delay or modification in being able to undertake these aspects of your course in the planned timeframe.

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you:

  • Adequate fitness levels and mobility to deliver First Aid and perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR while kneeling on the floor

  • Your sights set on a future career in nursing
