To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

  • Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 10 high school level

Licensing

Irrigation is not a licensed occupation however, working directly or indirectly with irrigation systems connected to a drinking water supply will require a plumbing licence with NSW Fair Trading. Visit NSW Fair Trading for more information.

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Irrigation Technology qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 22 units of competency, including 9 core and 13 speciality units.
