You will gain a solid understanding of how the horse racing industry operates as well as how proper and effective treatment and training of the animals is integral to the longevity of horse riding, both as a pursuit and as a sport. You will learn to work independently to manage the different functions of a stable, as well as to supervise the handling and transportation of horses, provide first aid and emergency horse care.
