This course is approved for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan (VSL).
An individual training plan will be provided when you enrol in this course. Your plan will outline the recommended study timetable and detail your units and assessments.
Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt and to identify the knowledge or skills that may need further development.
Knowledge assessments: short answer, extended response, research tasks, multiple-choice questions, assignments
Skills assessments: projects, case studies
Practical skills assessments: demonstrations under observation
Simulated workplace projects: scenario-based problem solving

Work placement provides you with opportunities to respond to situations and circumstances that cannot be replicated in a learning or simulated environment. Work placement strengthens your training and supports continued learning and assessment in the workplace.
To be enrolled in this course offering, you need to be able to meet the following work placement requirements:
There are no nominated workplace hours required for this course, however, to achieve the competency in the course, you are required to complete a range of practical assessment tasks in the real and/ or simulated health care environment. You will be provided an option to either complete various practical assessment tasks virtually and/or in the real health workplace as organised by TAFE Digital. Alternatively, you can organise your own health care facility to complete the practical assessments of this course. Please contact the teaching section for more information.

To successfully complete this course, you will need:
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Practice Management qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 15 Units of competency, including 10 core and 5 speciality units.
Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.
Choose when and where you study. Set your own pace, with all your study materials online, allowing you to manage your own workload. Access your learning management system 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is a highly collaborative space that involves more than simply reading and consuming.
You will interact creatively with content, teachers and your peers, improving your overall engagement with the course. Teaching staff are available to provide you with support, enabling you meet your course outcomes.
You may need to attend a vocational placement, on campus assessment and/or a teacher might need to observe and assess you in a real or simulated environment. Online courses require access to a computer with an internet connection.
