If you are enrolling as a TVET student, you will undertake a mandatory 10 days of work placement with a suitable industry employer. If you are not a TVET student, you are not required to undertake work placement.

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 410 weighting points, including 270 core and 140 speciality units.
