Students must have access to a personal computer or laptop with internet and search browser. Students need to have access to email, Skype and or MS Teams, including software such as or similar to MS word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 18 units of competency, including 5 core and 13 speciality units.
Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.
You will attend a TAFE NSW campus or Connected Learning Centre to connect with your teachers and other students in a virtual classroom where you will participate in learning activities via video or web conferencing technology. Much like a regular class, you will have scheduled times of attendance. Depending on what you are studying, your course may also include some online units or practice training though our network of Mobile Training Units.
TAFE NSW Scone is located in the upper Hunter Valley in Scone, a town known as the horse capital of Australia. Conveniently situated next to the racecourse and the Equine Research Centre, TAFE NSW Scone features state-of-the-art stables, a riding area, and farrier’s workshop. Also located on site is Hunter Local Land Services, who provide local landholders with greater access to services and advice in agricultural production, natural resource management, biosecurity and emergency management.
