A TAFE hairdressing graduate from Parkes has passed her final presentation with flying colours, as well as some feathered braids, glitter and a huge amount of passion.

Danielle Wykamp, 19, has been serving her apprenticeship at local salon, Absolutely Hair, as part of her Certificate III in Hairdressing. She recently had a chance to showcase her talent and skills by presenting two models as part of her TAFE final. The theme was 'bohemian' and part of Danielle's assessment was on her understanding of the theme. She also had to supply all the make-up, jewellery, clothing, shoes and accessories.

"It was quite expensive, but it was worth it," she told theĀ Champion Post. "Tori was an up-style model and Tamika was a cut and colour model."

The result was pure, fabulous bohemian glamour, ensuring Danielle's successful passage from apprentice to fully-fledged hairdresser.

Danielle's boss, salon owner Jan Dove, said that Danielle has always been a dream apprentice, passionate about hairdressing, quick to learn and a delightful addition to the staff.

"She is good with clients of all age groups, from babies through to senior citizens," Ms Dove said.Danielle's successful qualification means she can now become more involved in the services provided by Absolutely Hair.
