The FASEA practice exam tests your skills and knowledge on FASEA topics such as financial advice regulation, the legal obligations faced by advisers, ethical and professional reasoning, behavioural finance, communication, and financial advice construction. The ‘practice exam’ which consists of approximately 100 questions and must be completed within 3.5 hours. On completion of the exam – which you have one attempt only – you will receive your result and immediate feedback. This can be used to further strengthen any areas required. You will be able to view your feedback from the practice exam as many times as you need. As long as it is within the 4 weeks of the course period.

Additional Courses

The Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning has been designed to meet the FASEA educational requirements for financial advisers in accordance with the requirements of the Corporations Amendment (Professional Standards of Advisers) Act 2017. The Graduate Diploma is specifically for people currently practising as financial planners who hold a degree or higher qualification, but which is not in a finance field, and for existing advisers who hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a finance related field. People who hold a degree in an unrelated field and who wish to become financial advisers can also complete this course to meet FASEA education requirements.

Students must complete eight subjects covering behavioural finance, applied financial advice, commercial and corporations law and ethics and professional standards for financial advisers, taxation planning, retirement and estate planning, insurance and superannuation planning and investment planning.

The Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning (Professional Practice) is designed for people currently practising as financial planners who hold a degree or higher qualification in a finance field. The course meets the FASEA educational requirements for financial advisers in accordance with the requirements of the Corporations Amendment (Professional Standards of Advisers) Act 2017. The course also addresses the Code of Ethics for Financial Planners.

The Course comprises four subjects covering behavioural finance, applied financial advice, commercial and corporations law and ethics and professional standards for financial advisers.
