Coffs Harbour
TAFE NSW Coffs Harbour is on the lands of the Gumbaynggirr people. Like its sister campus known as the education campus, it too is located in an oasis of natural beauty near the town centre, set between the forested hills and the sea.
Together these two sites comprise TAFE NSW Coffs Harbour. Known as a general TAFE NSW campus, this site has a strong trades focus while the other shares its location with the Coffs Harbour Senior College and Southern Cross University.
Here students enjoy an innovatively designed trade centre where students can gain practical skills in carpentry, bricklaying, concreting, plumbing, roof plumbing and tiling. The campus also offers a range of creative industry courses, and is one of two campuses to offer a fashion design course on the North Coast. Other courses include business and IT while the campus is also a hub for the delivery of the Adult Migrant English (AMEP) program.
The Gumbaynggirr Giingana Freedom School is co-located on-campus along with Gowrie Creche, which offers care for children of AMEP (Adult Migrant English Program) students.
