Poche and TAFE NSW provide mental health training to Nepean Blue Mountains communities

To date, the graduates have engaged with over 655 clients, with interaction and monitoring progress, being a key success metric.

International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) skiing champion, 17 year-old Carter Robertson is gliding towards turning his passion for water into a career by studying at TAFE NSW while completing the HSC. The Grasmere local said he is passionate about everything maritime, and chose to study a Certificate I in Maritime Operations online with TAFE Digital because he wanted to kick-start his career before leaving school.

Muswellbrook local, Sophie Scriven, is flying high after completing a Certificate III in Tourism at TAFE NSW before graduating from high school. Ms Scriven recently booked a return trip to the United States through her workplace, iTravel. The trip included a stay in Los Angeles and her family had exciting times at Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood Celebrity Homes Tour and Santa Monica before jetting off to Seattle.

TAFE Digital helps Tracey Brown in aged care career
Muswellbrook resident, Tracey Brown, is taking full advantage of new employment opportunities in the aged care industry and has turned to TAFE NSW to get the qualifications she needs. After working as a domestic assistant for two and a half years, she chose to make the switch to aged care by studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) online with TAFE Digital and is now employed by TransCare, who provide in-home services for the growing aged population.
TAFE Digital and GP Synergy deliver unique training for Aboriginal medical practitioners
TAFE Digital and GP Synergy have collaborated to develop and deliver a nationally accredited Diploma of Practice Management for Aboriginal Medical Services for Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHSs) employees.
