Dean Mobbs Gallery Scholarships

The Dean Mobbs Gallery Scholarships assist individuals who display determination and high application in their studies and who are looking to explore their future educational and career opportunities.

Each scholarship is valued at up to $500, there are three scholarship categories available:

  • Creative Arts (including Screen and Media)
  • Hospitality
  • Early Childhood Education and Care (including Education Support)

Closing date: Monday 3 June 2019

The applicant must be enrolled in a qualification with TAFE NSW in Bathurst or Orange in one of the following categories:

  • Creative Arts – for students currently studying a course related to creative arts (including Screen and Media)
  • Hospitality – for students currently studying a course related to Hospitality
  • Early Childhood Education and Care – for students currently studying a course related to Early Childhood Education and Care (including Education Support)
  • The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to their course of study and future career goals
  • The applicant must demonstrate how the scholarship funds will be used to support study and career ambitions

About Dean Mobbs

Dean Mobbs is a local artist and writer who lives and works in Bathurst where he creates and operates a working art gallery featuring his original artworks. Dean has a teaching degree in Primary Education with Honours, he also has a Bachelor degree in Creative Arts and a Masters in Philosophy.

Dean aims to be able to fulfil his creative, personal and professional potential each and every day. He is proud to partner with TAFE NSW to offer scholarships to students who need a helping hand to complete their training.
