Study Assistance Scholarships
The Study Assistance Scholarships were established by the Hunter TAFE Foundation to provide support to committed students who are in need of financial assistance or encouragement to complete their studies.
There are five (5) scholarships available, each valued at $500.

Closing date: 5pm Friday 6 March 2020
All students enrolled at TAFE NSW in the Hunter or Central Coast Regions are eligible to apply.
New students are encouraged to apply, and must be enrolled in a course delivered by TAFE NSW in the Hunter or Central Coast at the time of receiving the Study Assistance Scholarship.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a course delivered by TAFE NSW in the Hunter or Central Coast at the time of receiving the Study Assistance Scholarship.
- Must be able to demonstrate that financial and/or personal hardship is a barrier to study and successful completion of the course OR a demonstrated requirement for encouragement to successfully complete the course.
- Must be able to demonstrate commitment to the course of study and career goals.
What is the value of the Study Assistance Scholarship?
There are five (5) scholarships available, each valued at $500. New students are encouraged to apply however, if successful, you must be enrolled in a TAFE NSW qualification at the time of receiving the Study Assistance Scholarship. If you are not enrolled in an eligible TAFE NSW qualification, you will not be eligible to receive the scholarship.
The committee charged with selecting the Study Assistance Scholarships will comprise of TAFE NSW and/or Hunter TAFE Foundation representatives.
